Electronic data acquisition systems and Accurate instrumentation designed to CTI specifications
Robert Fulkerson provides all of the necessary instrumentation and personnel to conduct a cooling tower performance test in accordance with the CTI ATC-105 or ASME PTC-23 cooling tower testing procedures. We use state-of-the-art electronic data acquisition systems to collect and store the cooling tower test data. All temperatures are measured with precision platinum RTD's calibrated and traceable to NIST. The RTD probes are read once every ten seconds by the data logger and averaged for the test period.
If the cooling tower is not performing satisfactorily, we can offer suggestions for changes to improve the cooling performance of the tower. Only with a properly conducted cooling tower performance test using accurately calibrated instrumentation can you be certain of the thermal capacity of your cooling tower. For diagnostic testing to pinpoint problems in a cooling tower additional data, not required for the CTI or ASME test, may be required. If the original design data for the cooling tower are not available, or are no longer relevant, new design data and performance curves can be generated.
Robert Fulkerson has over 55 years of experience in the design, construction and testing of cooling towers. Robert Fulkerson was a member of the CTI committee which produced the CTI ATC-105 test code. He is also a member of the ASME PTC-23 committee which developed the ASME PTC-23 (1986) and the ASME PTC-23 (2003) test codes.
